Mr. Karkanis lives in the neighbourhood of Porto Kalivaki. He used to be a shepherd together with his brother. Now he has a farm in the mountains where he lives, and he created Kalivaki. Every year he adds new details to it. Sometimes a new piece of art, other years he had a new pergola on the seafront built, and last year he had most bathrooms and kitchens renewed.



 

Dimitra, together with Mr. Karkanis, is in charge of Kalivaki.
She manages almost everything. Dimitra also sees to it that the studio's are available and clean, does small repairs, paints the buildings inside and out in winter, looks after the garden together with Mr. Karkanis. Also she is in charge of the umbrella's and sunbeds on the beach.
Together with Mr. Karkanis she sees to it that everybody has a good time at Kalivaki.
